After the recent success of our 30th release from DJ Hybrid we have a long overdue single from Brazilian whiz kids Jam Thieves. With an array of releases under their belt spanning labels such as Serial Killaz Recordings and Syndrome Audio, producing a track that hits hard on the dance floor is second nature to these lads.

First up and leading the way in true Jam Thieves style is Coringa. This one instantly gets to work and delves straight into deep, dark territory. Stabby mids, rumbling subs and snappy, marching drums combine to create a dark, techy roller which wouldn’t be out of place in the record boxes of S.P.Y et al. 

On the flip side the Brazilian duo step things up a notch with the likes of Cannibal. As the name suggests this one is as sick as they come. Twisted, infectious basslines writher their way through the mix alongside upbeat, rolling breakbeats which hit hard on the throttle to ensure this one will keep bodies moving upon any dance floor.

Lakeway is back on E-Motion! And if his debut release wasn’t enough to flavour your pallet then we can ensure you his next 2 tracks will do exactly that. This time we delve into what is unknown territory for us; and what is currently taking the drum & bass scene by storm. You know what we mean, them wonky hip hop, half step kind of vibes.

Leading the way is Arroyo. Don’t let the minimal style intro on this one catch you off guard. When that bass hits you will feel every hair on your body standing on end whilst your heart shakes it’s way out of your chest. The heavy sub low bass accompanied with half step, hard hitting drums and glitchy percussion assemble to create, what can only be described as absolute dance floor destruction!

On the flip is Things You Say. Lakeway keeps things on a similar half step vibe with this one leaning slightly more towards the glitchy hip hop route. From the word go trippy, malfunctioning sounding vocals take ahold leading the way for the super heavy 35hz which smash into the mix on the drop. Off beat drums compliment the ever changing soundscape to create a sound truly created for educated ears.
