Now it's time to AMPLIFY 2016!
 
Focusing on the song writing of singer/guitarist TESS JONES with LEE CLIFTON on lead guitar, and brand new sensational rhythm section, BEN DRUMMOND and PAUL STONE, the "AMPLIFY" album signals a refreshing commitment to providing the listener with a true musical journey that encourages memories of the first play of a now treasured vinyl record.
 
"Whilst touring and talking to audiences last year, we sensed a strong desire in people for a return to something real. We really wanted to try and capture that - four guys in a room", Tess explains. "With an album that goes through the emotions of life: from upbeat exhilaration, excitement and self-confidence, to love, frustration and even the feelings of loss".
 
Last year, the band engaged audiences with five shows at Glastonbury, sub-headlined the 2015 Acoustic Festival of Britain's second stage and headlined Bear Gryll's Festival in London. 2016 sees them ready to build on this increasingly strong live reputation. Rest assured, TESS OF THE CIRCLE are just getting started!

TESS OF THE CIRCLE is a British independent collective that focuses on the songs of male songwriter Tess Jones and a collective of participating musicians. With a new album line up for 2013, the album 'Thorns' introduces shades of 70's electric rock into the established acoustic guitar riffs and biographical lyrics that had previously seen Tess gain widespread critical recognition. Mixing intimacy with intent, this evolution of style came primarily from touring. Upon completion of the writing of the album Tess recruited a collective of talented musicians to add a distinctive band sound. The album also welcomes newcomer Lee Clifton on guitar who has bought an extra element through his lead workj.  

The album Thorns is released on 15th July 2013 with a single Better Days out June 24th.
