Since childhood, music has always played a huge role in Tet's life. He started off with the piano at age 7, taking lessons, but soon discovered his favorite aspect was that of creating songs. Some years later, he transferred to the drums, joining many bands over the years. Tet fell into the world of electronic music at age 16, where he began producing and DJ’ing, but it wasn’t until age 19 that he decided to dedicate himself fully to electronic music.
Tet’s unique upbringing, having been born in the US but raised in Chile, then Italy, now based in Amsterdam, plays a significant role in his music, which has emerged as a distinct strain of techno. Dynamically blending evocative melodies and chest-pumping groove, Tet aims to provide a hypnotic journey into profound connection and emotion.
