I'm a Chicago native who grew up listening to good house music. I came up with Alien Workshop Productions in 1995. I made several mix tapes on busted gear. Used a lot of trashy synths to make some organic music. Some of my equipment came and went, but I stick to mostly the same vintage gear.  All my sounds are from my studio for the most part. Some samples make their way in from the news or some silly mainstream bullshit.   
For several years the studio has gone through evolutions, and with each evolution comes a new set of music. My machines are alive and they are organically speaking to each other the ether and me. It is a dialogue made from Roland grooveboxes, Korg synths, Ensoniq, Casio, Yamaha, Akai and other guest instruments. I incorporate acoustic instruments in all of my music. I play the clarinet, tenor sax, piano, drums, violin, balalaika, tambura, accordion, harmonica...uhhh, well anything that makes noises. 
Most of what makes the music is old and somewhat out of tune or glitchy, kinda like me. I do something new and different and will be doing more heavy video and visuals. As a visual artist, I always try to challenge myself. Now in 2020, my vision is complete, I will continue to baffle listeners and viewers with a bunch of garbage shit noises and blurred lines of audio and visual vomit.  Like me, the music is also a hot mess.
