Sometimes I feel like I am possessed by an alien entity having fun behind my back.

This is Passing Through.  Dan Blackard wrote the lyrics in about ten minutes. The music gave him an image of driving down a desert road toward Las Vegas. Like the desert, it can be a very tricky place to spend time. So this guy is passing through! 

Dan B. used his old Gretsch out to add a little twang!  This is good old fashioned rock!
