The teVelde Conservatory of Music was founded by Dr. Bonnie teVelde in 1997. Dr. teVelde became interested in developing a methodology for teaching Absolute Perfect Pitch after researching her own Absolute Pitch(AP) skills. Over the next 20 years, teVelde created what is now known as The Sensapitch Method. 

Sensapitch has now been used by over 40 music teachers with over 400 students, and has been proven to be successful in teaching 92% of students under the age of 10 Absolutes Pitch on at least 3 notes within three first year of training. Many of these students have stayed in musical training, and have fully developed AP on all notes, proven by annual pitch testing over the period of 7 years. (2012-2019)

These are the original tracks developed and recorded by teVelde to accompany the Sensapitch books. The book 4 tracks are currently being prepared for uploading, and should be completed by end of year 2022. These tracks have recently been made available to the public, to be used alongside the books by a Sensapitch certified teacher who is in ongoing annual training. These tracks are not designed to be used without teacher input.

AP is the ability to recognize a note, and name it, without reference to a musical instrument. Also known as "Perfect Pitch", it gives a musician the ability to play by ear easily, pick up new instruments and songs easily, and sing on key. Almost all of the truly great musicians have it, including but not limited to: Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Mozart, Handel, Bartok, Liszt, and contemporary musicians including: Celine Dion, Elton John, Mariah Carey, Ella Fitzgerald, and many more.
