This is absolutely beautiful. What a dream <3

This is a short excerpt from a 20-minute long-form composition from my album 'Brutes' (out July 15th, 2022 on Hush Hush Records).

This album is built on manipulating human voices into new forms.  It's two very long (20+ min) tracks, made from very long (60+ ft.) analog tape loops on my 8-track reel-to-reel machine, these long loops running across the whole studio. Each track went into a separate amplifier its own separate mixer channel - 8 tracks, 8 mixer channels, 8 amps. We called it the 'amplifier orchestra'.

Voices come and go. The compositions evolve slowly over time. A train goes by outside the studio. An amp fails halfway through. The floor creaks. The events that happen in the passage of time, become instruments in this work.

I think the work is quite interesting, and I really enjoyed making it. I hope you enjoy listening, and find some beauty in the composition.
