After a successful first release, Metallic States is back with a new black-smith joining the forge : Rambal Cochet. The producer shows again how prolific he is at the moment with a mini LP composed as a tribute to Need For Speed. At this occasion he crafted 6 surprising tracks, including 4 of his typical Neo Goa / Progressive Trance tracks and 2 aery Drum’n’bass experimentations to open the sonic spectrum of Metallic States. Only one question remain : what’s coming next?

Dasha Stish is a multimedia artist, music selector and composer. Recently, released her debut cassette album on Tape to Tape — “Gastronomical Guide to Musical Harmony” — an experimental intelligent electronic piece, which was commissioned for the opening dinner of the renowned Signal music festival. Dasha selects oddities spanning from early pioneering electronics to soviet and post-soviet forgotten tapes.

The Aquarium V/A Vol. i features 15 tracks spanning the entire scope of this amphibious dancefloor. The compilation surges through a journey into the minds and waves of 17 producers, navigating an underwater sound consistent in its diversity. From the wobbling pulse of Big Leg’s Jelly Dub Luv (ft. RexL) to COLA REN’s dreamy seabed roll, the filmic nostalgia of eoin DJ’s Things In Life, and the more danceable sound of E-Talking’s Être un autre ohm, each track is a love letter to every corner of the Aquarium’s deep blue.

The selection is curated by the team behind Fandango, and will be donating all profits to the marine conservation charity Blue Ventures. The charity was chosen to contribute back to marine life without which sounds and swells of aquatic bass could not exist. Blue Ventures works with small-scale local cultures and economies to support their natural ecosystems, ensuring a fair distribution of resources.

Le 1er février dernier (2025), 3 de nos voyous jouaient pour le closing du festival Waterproof à Rennes, la soirée "Let's Dance" à l'Ubu !
Pendant 6 heures, elle et ils ont fait de leur mieux (et nous on trouve que c'était super) pour faire danser les gens sur différents rythmes. 

Voilà donc l'enregistrement du mix, c'est cadeau et on espère que ça vous fera bouger la tête et le corps peu importe où et quand vous l'écouterez :)
