Texoma Fats is the creation of the multi-talented artist, Bruce L. Boone. Fats also known as His Divine Warrior, RAS MIKO. He is a Black Indian Chieftain and “Artivist”, supporting and spreading awareness of his ancestral community through his art. Texoma Fats is “The Godfather of POETCHI”, which is artistic energy transcended. Texoma Fats was born in the Texoma region of Ada, Oklahoma, and bred in the neighborhood streets of Hammond Heights. Growing up with the 3 P's, the Pimps, Pushers and Playas, hence spawning the infamous Texoma Fats. But don't get it twisted; Texoma Fats isn't about Weight, Status Quo or None of That! It is a State of Mind! “I am a testament to my beliefs and philosophy that the Arts contribute to healing.” In 2008, Fats turned his energy towards the arts and delved into the history of his birthplace and his people. He studied poetry, creative writing and graphic design to hone the tools with which he might express his art, and went on to found the Haus O’ Poetchi, a syndicate for artists and writers like himself. Though sales are necessary to support the cause, art always comes before commerce.
