Space Travel Records inaugurates a new series of VA’s focused on dancefloor smashing sounds, moving textures and dynamic rhythms. Outer-space transmissions decoded by different artists in each delivery in the form of powerful techno cuts: “Decoded Space Transmissions”
To open this new series, label owners Betty Hill and Process have teamed up with international artists Albert Chiovenda, HD Substance and, for the second time on the label, Stanislav Tolkachev. 
From deep atmospheres and twisted synth lines to pounding grooves and relentless basslines, this release opens up a whole new chapter in our sonic identity. Be prepared for a mind-bending mixture of minimalism and raw techno force.

Here we are for our second podcast, with a live set from the powerful duo DVRTN. 

DVRTN is an electronic duo based in Turin. Lorenzo Donato is graduating in electronic music at the Conservatory of electronic music of Cuneo. He is an audio technician and musician and has a passion for synthesis and sampling.
Since 2019, alongside playing electronic music in the Sintetica collective, he has been working with different artists in music production.
Francesca Bruna is a musician and composer. She studied at the APM school for musical specialisation and works in clubs as lighting  engineer. 
Passionate about electronic music, in 2017 she started playing at rave parties. In 2020 she joined the Sintetica collective as a musician.

It marks the second episode of a new chapter where the label will focus on two styles. The Form series will have a diverse sound palette where the weird and beautiful come together. The Function series, on the other hand, have a focus on dancefloor orientated tracks.

Border One's 'Cenote' is a funky groover that resonates well in any DJ set. A bell-like synth lurks you in and never let's go throughout the entire track.

At the border between tradition and pulsating desire for change, it was impossible to describe the Georgian Sonic soundscapes without finding its roots in the old winemaking tradition. There is no meal or reference without wine, just like there would not be this rising culture of artists without their thoughts for change, filled with the desire to bring a game-changing wind of change to the front of the scene, being musical or political.

devi finally reveals himself completely, the face of the wind of change which continues to blow over the red vines of Georgia.

Established in Rennes (France), RED REC has pushed forward a wide range of ambient, eclectic and proteiform compositions. In only over three years of existence, the French label has offered a vigorous artistic and technophile approach, with 9 digital releases. A new VA is its way for the end of the year and this is their second tome of We Are The Vineyard.

Prolific, Berlin based artist, Philipp Läufer aka War Scenes, makes a monster debut on AFR with the Strangerz Crossin EP. Previously releasing on the renowned Instruments Of Discipline, War Scenes has quickly established a unique cut of Techno; a hybrid of relentlessly propulsive lines, bred with broken, machine-born sounds, forming a conflictingly raw and surgical output. 

This latest EP has Läufer continuing to develop a deeper and more focussed sound based around his pure punk-techno aesthetic. Relentless and driving his 4 originals strike right at the heart of razor sharp, intensive Techno.

An impressive list of remixes follow, combing Scottish based industrialist Duellist, French body music producer IV Horsemen & the doom influenced Italian, Exome. All three artists bring their unique dimensional take to the War Scene originals delivering unrivalled individuality to each.
