Originally I found a website promoting remix competitions and I came across this beaut. And ORIGINALLY I just wanted to make a remix! But I played my version to a few a people and they came back with great feedback, so I decided to submit it as my entry! A lot of people cast their vote and I was overwhelmed with all the feedback and support I recieved!!!

**** The voting has now closed for the comp and I wasn't a winner, but I had loads of fun making this and can't believe the response!! So here is my final entry :-) Listen, share & enjoy!

I always found the "Candi Staton - Hallelujah Anyway (larse vocal mix)" really great but a little too slow. So after hearing this version played in a high BPM on a DJ set I decided to mess around with it and make what I call the "club edition", as the music became more aggressive, dancing, whatever you like to describe.

What I did was test some pitch increase till I found the "perfect" one, and also did a little twist in the beginning to smooth it a little so when the first kick happens it really have an impact.
