Hot Creations favourite Robert James (@robert-james-1) makes his debut on VIVa with three original tracks and heavyweights Groove Armada are onboard to deliver ‘​Terrace’ and ‘​Dub’ remixes.

“These tracks would still be sat on my computer if it wasn't for my good mate Mark Jenkyns playing ‘Seagate’ in Miami where Steve Lawler first heard it. For the past two years I've not really done much in regards to production as I've always been more of a DJ than producer, but I do love producing so decided it's time to get back into it again. Happy to finally get these tracks out and thanks to the VIVa crew for taking them and getting the mighty Groove Armada to remix "House Invader" - Robert James

‘Seagate’ c​aptures the energy of the sunshine with licking hi­hats, rolling grooves and unforgettable vocals. The feel ­good ‘​House Invader’ r​ides a swinging bassline and sharp kick, while Groove Armada’s ‘​Terrace Mix’ strips solid percussion into a dramatic synth affair, and a digital ‘​Dub Mix’ is also on the agenda. On his third original production, Robert James delivers more sonic bassline action with ‘​Feel That Way’.

Comprised of 8 tracks from artists both new and old, Hot Summer Jams 2 offers up names such as DT favourite Cera Alba, Coyu, Neil Parkes, MANIK and Hot Creations head honcho, Jamie Jones.

Our Debut Transmission today however comes from Alexis Raphael. This London-based DJ/producer signed his first track to Hot Waves back in 2011, and since then has gone on to score for the likes of Moda Black, Leftroom and MadTech. Alexis returns to Hot Creations now with a slice of insanity-inducing, floor-filling house, that delivers more than just a friendly nod to The Prodigy.

Talented production duo Paul C & Paolo Martini bring their Italian flavour to the dancefloor as they are warmly welcomed back on Hot Creations with ‘Pinball’.

Title track ‘Pinball’ hits with a solid bassline, intricate percussion and a dynamic ghetto style vocal. On the flip ‘Woom’ works up a cunning groove, spell-binding melody and strong synths build towards an epic breakdown. Both tracks emulate Paul C & Paolo Martini’s distinctive sound and are primed for bringing heat to the night.

With a combined career that spans 40 years in the business, Paul C & Paolo Martini are 2 of the hottest Italians producers around. As part of Bini & Martini, Paolo Martini was without doubt one of the most prolific house producers at the turn of the century, touring the globe and lending their remix talents to major dance labels like Defected, Strictly Rhythm, AM:PM, Twisted, Universal and many of the worlds biggest pop acts such Jamiroquai, Kylie Minogue, Terence Trent D'Arby, Murk, Armand Van Helden and many many more. Paul C has honed his production skills since the mid '90's and his energetic brand of tech-house has seen him release on a host influential labels.

From 2010 the pair have worked tirelessly in the studio and not only seen their music supported by many of the industry’s biggest names but have also seen their tracks & remixes feature on labels such Hot Creations, Cecille, 8Bit, Moon Harbour, Noir, Gruuv, Terminal M, Exploited and Bedrock amongst many others.

o+ H​aving met randomly on the way to Croatia four years ago, 1​2 Stories m​aterialised as a project built to bring two musical styles and influences together to create something fresh and exciting. The duo’s production efforts have so far seen a remix of Jenkyn’s own ‘​On Me’,​a remix of Walker and Royce and their first full release ‘​Night Obscure EP’ on Hot Creations. Originally from South Shields, M​ark Jenkyns has enjoyed a series of well received releases on Hot Creations, Hot Waves, Crosstown Rebels and Dogmatik. Belgian in origin, Igor Vicente and DkA join forces to create two monster tracks for their 'Haus Boo EP' on Hot Creations. Championed by Jamie Jones, Lee Foss and Richy Ahmed it arrives hot on the heels of Hot Creations’s Paradise events series announcement for Ibiza 2016, this is music made for those heady nights on the DC10 terrace.

On the A-side is 'Haus Boo' which the guys created after being inspired by the all time classic The House Master Boyz and The Rude Boy Of House 'House Nation'. Taking the release into a much darker realm is 'Shady' with a seriously addictive beat, endless high-hats and relentless snares.

Infatuated with music from a young age, Igor Vicente founded the Belgian Wildfamily Parties in which Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Dinky and Matthew Styles among others have all played. Some years later he formed one half of Ultrasone, and has released on Get Physical, Mobilee and Hot Creations multiple times. These days you can catch him playing at one of his two residencies in Belgium, Cafe d'Anvers and Fuse, and founding the label State of Flow.

DkA has his roots firmly placed in the house music scene and has taken his sounds all over Europe, whilst releasing on Get Physical Music, Mobilee Records and Play Label Records to name just a few.

Mihalis Safras has remixed Marco Carola’s ‘Play It Loud’, which sees release through Circus Recordings today (4th July). And we have the exclusive premiere of the track above.

The original ‘Play It Loud’ featured on Carola’s album of the same name, which landed via Richie Hawtin’s Minus Recordings in 2008. Safras recently sent his version to Circus Recordings boss Yousef, and it went on to receive plays from both the label-head as well as Carola himself.

And Athens-born Safras’ remix of the track is simply huge, receiving phenomenal reactions on the dancefloor through its extended builds and percussive breaks.
