tFardy - Tribe District Tekno Party with Emel - replay 100% vinyl set

Everyone has their own definition of Mental Tekno. For me, it's a style where every track has is one own story.

From beginning to end, tracks are often autonomous micro-novels. Sometimes it is a space odyssey between dimensions, sometimes it is an ethnic ritual performed somewhere in the corners of forgotten jungles. Each of these stories influences my emotions and mood. This is pure transcendence... These are not songs that will make the dance floor explode - here the mind dances - hence the apt name: mental.

I decided to record the set 100% on 12-inch mental style records. I must admit that I have been composing the selection for some time, carefully selecting albums that will turn the micro-novel into something bigger. I called the set "Sin and Salvation" - maybe a bit influenced by the upcoming most important holidays in Christianity. It consists of two parts - one dark, with sounds like from horror movies, full of grating noises, crackles and incomprehensible spells. Then there is a breakthrough and salvation, and you find yourself in a somewhat fairy-tale world.

I'm very curious about your reaction, this is my first 100% mental tekno set.

The concept for this mix was simple: the left deck features only FKY tracks (the master of oldskool tribe), while the right deck features only UZI tracks (the master of newskool tribe). I think it turned out to be an interesting experiment to combine the work of these prolific artists from the tekno/tribe scene in one set, especially since they have never released a joint EP.

@melly_tekiteazy Melly - the banging tekno virtuoso recently released a wonderful 12" EP on Peur Blue where one of the tracks is a locked banging loop.
As soon as I got the package - I decided (a bit for fun) to mix it with a rap anthem from the 90s called Scyzoryk - performed by Polish Rap pioneers - Liroy and Wzgórze Yapa3 crew from my hometown Kielce.
The track "Scyzoryk" - eng "pocketknife" tells the story of Kielce in the 90s. It was the first rap banger that the whole of Poland knew and sang - and which made my beloved city famous.

The result is attached, I hope you like it.

tFardy @ Tekno Request vol.15 - 22.03.2025 - 100% Vinyl set

As a huge vinyl enthusiast, it is with a heavy heart that I listen to tracks that are only released for Digital.

However, it turned out that there is a technology available - lathe cut - that "uploads" the track to a vinyl record. Thanks to an order from the company - vinylove.me - I managed to record my "fav digits" on a 12" record.

The quality of the recorded vinyl is not the same as with a normal pressing, but it is definitely "playable". It is not a cheap investment - recording one copy of the record costs about 40EUR, and I recorded 2.

But I have a unique selection of favorite tracks.

I either received the digital tracks (thanks to B3N) or bought them on Bandcamp.
