The slow fall of the leaves, the promise resting beneath the soil, and the faint hint of spring linger above fading chords and a gentle, pulsing bass. Warm synths, misty atmospheres, subtle reverbs, a softly glowing female vocal, and a dreamlike chillwave tone.

“Chappie” is a fast, playful synthwave track whose title was inspired by a classic sci-fi movie, but its vibe leans more toward a bright, arcade-style world. With its chiptune-flavored lead, vintage brass synths, and energetic, danceable tempo, it brings a fun retro-futuristic feel.

This is the instrumental version of my track "Prisoner of the Algorithm".
Yes, the original lyrics and vocals were AI-generated, but as a bedroom producer, I can’t hire a singer-songwriter, and my own voice isn’t exactly pleasant to listen to and I don’t even have proper recording gear.
I made a leaner instrumental version instead of it! I hope you'll like it!

He is a bedroom producer and hobby DJ whose life has been deeply shaped by electronic music since the 1990s. As a child, he spent countless hours tuning in to radio stations and recording his favorite tracks onto cassette tapes. Over the years, he has created trance and progressive music, always staying true to his love for electronic sounds.

Synthwave and synthpop have long held a special place in his heart — he already has a few releases in these genres and continues to feel unwavering enthusiasm to keep creating more. He releases his music entirely independently, without relying on labels or outside expectations, which makes him a lesser-known artist — but that doesn’t bother him at all. As one of his mottos says: “Be your own biggest fan.”
