Welcome to the Legends Of House, DHA's brand new podcast series installation which will feature the artists that were seminal in shaping and sculpting house music. From the very beginning in Chicago, to the acid explosion in Manchester, to the early adaptations of house in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Every first week of the month we will present a different artist who has made a significant contribution to the development of house music through the years.

In the first period of this prolonged series we will get you acquainted with K Alexi Shelby, DJ Pierre, Orlando Voorn, Doc Martin and DJ Skull - in cooperation with brand new Dutch artist management HJCKD. 1.Shake That Booty - DJ Spun Vs. Spacetime Continuum

It is a "Yes, Gawwwd!" moment over here... The Black Madonna is letting us release her 2014 dj set at DEVIANTS: ADULT ARCADE, our annual post-Folsom Street Fair rave. 

The context? 1000 sweaty half-naked dudes (and a handful of brave ladies) in leather and lace finishing off a weekend of being raunchy in San Francisco. 

The set-up? Hi-Nrg legend Paul Parker has just performed his 1982 hit "Right On Target" live (as seen in the mix artwork above). 

The break-down? The Black Madonna answers the call with a relentless 120 minutes of bath-house inspired dancing release.

[Archive] The Black Madonna - Live at DEVIANTS ADULT ARCADE 2014

Joining us this month is one of the most consistent producers around at the moment. In the past six years Alex has been releasing exciting material through local Stockholm labels such as Abdulla Rashim's Northern Electronics, Bossmuik, and Aniara Records which put out his first record back in 2010. Aniara Records is also responsible for putting out the majority of his output as one half of Genius Of Time, the irresistible DJ/Live act he formed with his good friend Nils Krogh but the duo's punchy releases also found a home on Clone's Royal Oak and Gerd Janson's Running Back. The past two years have seen him focusing primarily on his solo output as Dorisburg and his most ambitious project to date arrived earlier this year on John Talobot's Hivern Discs in the form of the Irrbloss LP.

Today he's prepared a very special mix of mysterious and rare hypnotic House cuts which he recorded straight to cassette through a studio console and analogue outboard. He told us the mix is for "late night internet exploring...something to get lost within while browsing the unknown corners of the web... or possibly what a rave could sound like on an abandoned space station". Enjoy!

XXX's fifth podcast is delivered by none other then the guys who are responsible for the third release on our label, XXX003 - Mushrooms Project & Almunia.
@mushrooms-project2 delivered more then 2 hours of great music. Deep and slow tunes, some sweet acid lines and some dub tunes, but all blend together really well. 
It's just one big trip so kick back, grab a beer and pres play.
As the guys say themselves: "some new and old disco shit and some dance music 2 hours mixed with love... ".
