I'm feeling like a bit of a change so i'm selling my Yamaha CS-5 on Ebay. This is just a demo of some of the things it can do. It will be on ebay this week and i will post a link once its up. So i got a new toy today....Dave Smith Instruments Tetra... its a monster and i can see its gonna take a while to get to grips with but i had a good mess about today and this is a little recording i did. so there is two instruments here one i created from scratch and one of the presets that came with. cant wait to use it in some tracks asap.

So i haven't been on here in a few weeks..but that doesnt mean i havent been making music...My partner has just given birth to our 2nd child (first girl) so been busy with all that comes with fatherhood and in my sparetime i have been working on tracks for my up next EP. I am looking for some cool netlabels to release it on so any ideas PM me. This track was again mainly made using My Yamaha SY-1(for sale soon) all synth sounds came from it...the drums are battery 3 programmed and the effects are mainly monotron and monotron delay with a few other effects in the box. Enjoy !

TGM85 - Fight

Bit bored and wanted to record a bit of a track with my new toy (Korg SV1) so i set up a simple little set up. so i had my mic going into my loop pedal then through my Melos Mini Fazer then through my Korg Moniotron Delay into my mixer and that was joined by the Korg SV1. pretty simple little live improvised track....i had fun anyway hope you like.

TGM85 - Fire Tonight

Last weekend i had a great friday night then a bad day at work saturday but once i got home from work i felt inspired to do some recording. So i recorded the bassline then set up the mic and recorded some vocals and have spent the rest of the week building this track....hope you enjoy. if anyone wants to use it or remix it give mea shout.

This is a track i have been working on for a while now but just haven't had time to finish. So as i was away for the week with no distractions at the beach in woolacombe i finally managed to finish it..

TGM85 - Building Time

TGM85 is Chris Leaver,Chris was born in Herefordshire 1985, he then moved to Somerset to begin his life in the chilled out south west, his life was never the same again. 
Chris learnt various musical intruments throughout his school life. Chris started producing music at the age of 14 with a free copy of dance ejay. He then moved on to Rap age 16 and recorded a demo with 2 close friends at Sawmills Studios Fowey. This went down quite well but nothing really came out of it. 
Chris then went to college and completed a National Diploma in Music Technology/Pop Music. From there Chris developed a passion for electronic music. He went on from college to get a job in an engineering firm to pay for his addictive thirst to produce electronic music. 
Chris has been buying and selling bits of music gear learning their uses and tricks as he went. he is an avide reader of Future Music magazine and keeps up to date with current technology. 
Chris is currently using Cubase, NI Komplete, Yamaha CS-5, Yamaha SY-1, Korg SV-1, Korg Microkey, Korg Monotron, Korg Monotron Delay, Akai MPC500 a few other outboard effects...plus many more plugins.  
Now at this point he has Developed a unique sound and style to his music and continues to develop this everyday. 
2011 started as a great year for Chris his first Ep Eyeing Sky was released. The comments about the tracks were really positive and one of the tracks was been dropped on Skeme's Nu Breed show on <A href="http://Globalfunkradio.com" rel=nofollow target=_blank>Globalfunkradio.com</A> 
Chris was a winner in Mojear Records herrB remix competition and had the remix released on an Ep which hit number 26 in the Beatport Deep House top 100 new releases. 
Chris' second EP release Hardwired was Released on Mojear Records on the 15th November 2011. This went straight into the Beatport Chillout Top 100 New Releases at number 17 Which really ended the year with a smile.
2012 was a quiet year for Chris mainly working on remixes and music licenced for tv and radio.
Chris has a busy 2013 planned with a new EP release on Mojear Records due at the start of the year and lots of new material and another release later in the year on the cards too.
