Ever realised that when the rollercoaster that is life decides to start rolling, it feels like everything happens all at once. Out of the first corner, the next immediately knocks you back in your seat. I guess that's what makes it exciting, but also extremely overwhelming. In moments like this, and yes I know it sounds cliche AF, nothing slows me down more than listening to music with my undivided attention. Closing my eyes and let the sound and emotion take me anywhere they want to. That's exactly why I started Distant over five and a half years ago. And boy, am I more grateful than ever. Live set recorded on August 21, 2024, at Cova Santa Ibiza during The Soundgarden's final summer event on the island. Martin Fredes, a member of our team, performed a live DJ set on the Cave Stage at Cova Santa after the first B2B set between Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, kicking off the second part of the event before handing the booth back to the legends💚

It was a huge milestone in my life to perform in the main hall of the legendary Zurich HIVE Club with many great artists in the line up! 

I had been waiting for this opportunity for years. After the performance, I stayed at the club until 7 AM to relax a bit with that amazing crowd. Clearly, the good flow didn't end in the morning. 

After a few hours of sleep, we played another 3 hours on Sunday afternoon in a pleasant private after-hours setting. We also recorded this B2B set. It turned out to be a very nice, true journey-like AFTER HOURS set.
