Our ancestors climbed down from the trees
and our brains grew to a much larger size
In 1921, Albert Einstein won the Nobel Prize
Davinci, Galileo, Isacc Newton, 
Einstein joined an exclusive club
If they’d been born in the same century
They could have have hung out in a hot tub
If things are progressing too slow
Sometimes you just gotta go
Shake the tree and if some coconuts fall
Just hope they don’t land on your head
Thomas Stoltz Harvey was the doctor
at the hospital when Einstein died
He removed the brain from the great man’s skull
Even though he wasn’t authorized
He took the brain home.
Kept it in his closet in a mayonnaise jar
40 years later he took it on a road trip in his car
There's days when feels like humanity is circling the drain
If only Doctor Thomas Harvey had discovered the secrets of Einstein’s brain
He spent so many years in New Jersey with that brain floating in a jar
If he could have figured what made Einstein tick
 the human race could have so gone far
Einstein didn’t want his body studied
He didn’t want his bones to become a shrine
His ashes were scattered secretly.  
Everything was going just fine
Then the New York Times reported
that the brain had been taken from his head
Dr. Harvey said he’d write a scientific paper 
but over time he became frustrated
Our ancestors fought with rocks and sticks
And over time they learned new tricks
Now we have doomsday weapons that can take us to the brink
The planet of the apes is just science fiction 
But maybe it’s an accurate depiction
of what might happen if ape brains grow and human’s shrink
Doctor Harvey decided to beg for forgiveness 
instead of asking for permission
When it came to Einstein’s brain 
he was on a one man mission. 
He spent so many years in New Jersey
with that brain floating in a jar
If he could have figured what made Einstein tick
the human race could have so gone far
