Toby Ross is certainly hot property right now and with a style perfectly suited to Nicky Blackmarket’s Kartoons, it was only a matter of time before we nabbed him for a 4 track EP.

Intro vibes a run with the title track ‘Musical Warfare’. With it’s moody opening and chopped up classic breaks, it sets the tone of the release perfectly and delivers something authentic and upfront at the same time. A perfect clash of roots and culture. ‘Right Now’ harks back to the glory days of jungle with its reggae inspired hooks and one shot vocal stabs however, Toby flexes his own 2021 vision in the mix with distorted bass and sublow drones to create the ultimate flaming cocktail.

‘All Sounds’ sends an audio salute to Rodigan from the off. Blending Amen beats, claxons and Ross’ signature short and choppy production can only mean one thing here - sonic devastation. Hold tight all sound system crew on this one! 

Linking up with TEE for the final chapter as ‘Rudeboy’ signs off the EP with perfect form. One for the back of the room head nodders and everyone else who just wants to stick their head down, block out the lazers and immerse themselves in beats and bass.

This time Ceasar flips things on their head with a hellish VIP of his track “AK”. Ridiculing us with slow demonic chuckles over a minimal, tin pan sound drumbeat, “AK VIP” reminds us that our eerie addiction to the twisted sounds of the darkness is ever present.

Over the last year, since he first started releasing tracks independently to his SoundCloud, Ceasar has been building his arsenal of ghoulish growls and simplistic, heavy basslines. After his debut two-track release “Wonka / Seaweed” , he quickly gained releases on The Skank Bank and Invicta Audio, going on to release ‘G Skank’ as part of TSB’s Patreon E.P. in March.

“AK VIP” is a diabolic beast. Beginning with ominous pads and sinister vox before building to a menacing drop, this tune will have you gritting your teeth and screwing your face up so hard you’ll think you were back at 2018 Banghai Towers.

No one can deny that he is making a name for himself with his distinct roars and dark sounds. ‘Varuna’ takes you on a journey, the thumping kick drums creating a pressure that builds through the track, releasing in places with an explosive synth. The track rolls and crashes like the waves, with the basses talking to each other like warring creatures and is one of Undy’s best tracks to date.

This one’s dark and dangerous, make sure you don’t sleep on it.

Headroom has been churning out the bangers over the past year, with a lot of high-profile releases on some sick labels, as well as through his own Soundcloud. ‘Rolling Stone’ is no exception. The vocal brings a haunting atmosphere to a twisted concoction of warped basses and bouncy drums. This track is such a good one to mix with, we know you’re going to love it.

After huge success on both of their singles, these two boys are back, this time combining their skills to create a honing track. ‘Panic Button’ drops you down a dark hole in the intro and into the depths of the underground. The sub in this track is enough to blow your head off, we can see why you’d need to press the button, this one’s scary. The wailing mid-basses act like a siren, glitching in this parallel universe. These boys smash everything they put their minds to and it is a pleasure to have them both on board once again.

Housty keeps bringing the sauce with every track he puts out. This time with Coosie on vocal duties, they combine to deliver a dark and murky track. Despite its simplicity, the effectivity of the rolling bass in ‘No Replicas’ makes this track wallow in its own darkness. Coosie’s flow is unmatched, bouncing and slipping through the drums and you just can’t help but screw your face up. Minimalistic simplicity at it’s finest, this one is hard.
