Papa Smurf combines deep, trancey Drum and Bass bars with energetic drops that set you moving. This track has a captivating rhythm to it and packs a punch just when you want it to. The very minimal bassline builds calmly, culminating in hefty horns and snares. It’s perfect for that mid rave step up and will lock you in with its hypnotic feel.

Jared Cosmo Woolf, 30, born in South East London, has now called Brighton home for the last 10 years, and continues to work his magic down on the south coast. With 8 years of producing experience under his belt and a few more years of mixing on top, Woolf is ready to start entertaining the dance again. This time he’s back with a vengeance in the shape of a large collection of unreleased dubs waiting patiently to make their debut on the dancefloor, including a solo EP with Sub-Liminal Recordings.

Rising Birmingham-based producer Hickupz returns to TS Audio with his new 'Griselda' EP, off the back of a quality run of well-received official and free releases. He's been flexing his production musculature on collaborations with DIS:TURBED, Exsitu, Headroom and more, whilst also trying his hand at a selection of finely-tuned Hip-Hop beats. However, this four-tracker sees him back on a solo tip, bringing through what we think is the best of his production thus far. This track, 'Labyrinth', is our pick of the bunch, taking things deep and gloomy but still flowing, fruitful and above all, frenetic. Back with more heavyweight tunes, Identity Records continues to smash the barriers and deliver four fresh game changing tracks that’ll make your head spin. As the name implies, this release carries with it four tracks of seismic force that defy expectations of the frequencies of sounds and what can be done with them.  
Melodrama starts things off with the raucous tune “Sector 6.” Utilizing an intense drum roll that builds the tension to a fever pitch, it drops on you with the full force of the deepest sub you’ve ever heard. The vibrations of the bassline and the fluid shifting rhythm of the breaks work in tandem to burrow deep into your brain and refuse to let go.

Melodrama - Sector 6 (Free Download)

Hailing from Cardiff, Undecentum is one of the most exciting new producers to break onto the scene. No one can deny that he is making a name for himself with his distinct roars and dark sounds. ‘Varuna’ takes you on a journey, the thumping kick drums creating a pressure that builds through the track, releasing in places with an explosive synth. The track rolls and crashes like the waves, with the basses talking to each other like warring creatures and is one of Undy’s best tracks to date.

Our 5th track comes from man like Lucinate. This guy has some serious skills when it comes to production, with a number of high-profile releases on some really respected labels. This track picks up perfectly from the previous one. Now that we’re in ‘The Depths’, there’s nothing but thumping drums, and haunting synths that tear through their surroundings. This one’s dark and dangerous, make sure you don’t sleep on it.

Headroom has been churning out the bangers over the past year, with a lot of high-profile releases on some sick labels, as well as through his own Soundcloud. ‘Rolling Stone’ is no exception. The vocal brings a haunting atmosphere to a twisted concoction of warped basses and bouncy drums. This track is such a good one to mix with, we know you’re going to love it.

After huge success on both of their singles, these two boys are back, this time combining their skills to create a honing track. ‘Panic Button’ drops you down a dark hole in the intro and into the depths of the underground. The sub in this track is enough to blow your head off, we can see why you’d need to press the button, this one’s scary. The wailing mid-basses act like a siren, glitching in this parallel universe. These boys smash everything they put their minds to and it is a pleasure to have them both on board once again.

Housty keeps bringing the sauce with every track he puts out. This time with Coosie on vocal duties, they combine to deliver a dark and murky track. Despite its simplicity, the effectivity of the rolling bass in ‘No Replicas’ makes this track wallow in its own darkness. Coosie’s flow is unmatched, bouncing and slipping through the drums and you just can’t help but screw your face up. Minimalistic simplicity at it’s finest, this one is hard.
