The mixtape is the first to be released by Nigerian based hiphop artist  "Th3 Ghost" under the fast rising label from the south 'Southern Heritage'. It was executively produced by Mecca Records. 
The structure and arrangement style of the materials is certainly ahead of its time in these parts. It starts off with a slow tempo which eases you into a diary with a timeline warped in melodic and daring instrumentals.

The progressive nature of the stories he told is another standout achievement, lemme clarify that statement. In Track 2 (Me and My Homie) the character shared blunt time with a friend  as they realised the need to make money and they dreamt about what to do with the money when it arrives...In Track 3 (My Cross) the character loses the money...leading to some self reflection while having some alone time with his blunt ala Track 4(Smoking Session).

The Mixtape embodies complex lyricicsm and story-telling at its best and features a wide array of ridiculously gifted underground mcs (YL, pRo, King Karnel, Tentik). It is a journey into the mind of one of the greats. It is a timeless piece.

When asked about the inspiration for the title, he simply said  'The moon is the 2nd brightest object in the sky, It is a source of light even though it produces none, it appears as a bright white light yet its surface is dark, I can relate to it, I can relate to nature cos it helped me find peace.'
