Hier soir, les mélomanes à Paris devaient choisir. C'était soit direction l'Accor Arena à Bercy pour le premier des quatre shows parisiens de l'icône Madonna. Beaucoup d'encre a coulé à propos de ce show, de sa démesure, de sa folie, de sa puissance. Du côté des Grands Boulevards, une autre grande star foulait la scène du Grand Rex. Sheila donnait déjà le troisième concert parisien de cette tournée qui célèbre 60 ans d'une carrière exceptionnelle. Qu'on soit ou non attaché à sa musique, Sheila force le respect : 60 ans de carrière, 70 millions d'albums vendus, plusieurs tubes planétaires dont un Spacer absolument indépassable. Des fans inconditionnels, tellement heureux de pouvoir chanter les Rois Mages, Little Darling, Gloria ou Bang Bang. Et puis franchement, à 78 ans, tenir presque 3h de concert, toute seule, en dansant, sans s'assoir une seule fois sur un tabouret, ça force le respect. En tout cas, que ce soit pour Madonna ou Sheila, dans une époque où les réseaux sociaux voudrait nous faire croire que les femmes de plus de 40 ans ça n'existe pas : nos deux queens ont fait hier encore la démonstration du contraire.

 

À 19h sur la Tsugi Radio, on continue la teuf avec un des résidents de Funky French League et remixeur de Sheila, Young Pulse passe par les platines de la Tsugi Radio. Juste avant, on se promène dans le cœur de Poisson de Jean Fromageau qui aujourd'hui en pince pour la pop psyché de Paper Tapes.
