After the OBLIVION of 2020 there is only HOPE going into 2023. This mix is inspired and dedicated to the woman I expected to spend the rest of my life with, my amazing partner of 10 years, and the loving, ever-patient mother, of my youngest son. My only hope is for this release to embody the magnitude of emotion endured throughout this time. Encompassing the tragedy of the past, with the potential of a future yet uncertain. HOPE is all I have left to give after what has felt like a never-ending struggle to adapt and survive. I found solace in a game, Eternal Hope, that reflects the journey I've embraced throughout this experience. Utilizing the art and soundtrack from that game's theme couldn't be more fitting. The majority of the tracks in this mix were presented to me by my partner with just a few hand-picked extras added. I'm endlessly grateful to her, my resilient family, and my dear close friends for helping me through these incredibly heavy last few years. This mix starts off with the intro music from the game and a sense of being stuck in a repeating loop each day. For those of you who have endured the trials and tribulations of 2020, I give you.... H O P E

This is a mix I did for the event 'Off The Deep End'. Being a Drum n Bass mix done on the fly, I think this is one of the best I've put out thus far. Lots of quick cuts and a few long smooth mixes along with some of my scratching near the end and then closing with Dubstep. The title 'My Raving Rockstar' is referenced in a few different ways throughout the mix via tracks like 'Rock n Roll' and 'I'll be your Rockstar'. This was my first attempt using a large selection of music I had just recently acquired and in that being the first time ever using some of these tracks I rather impressed myself. Most all of the music I use in this mix reflects ideas concepts feelings and emotions I have been going through over the course of ruffly 5-6 months. If you listen closely you will find sections where I overlap lyrics in order to present a message by combining what is expressed in the lyrics. Overall I am very pleased with this mix and I hope you enjoy it.
