Producer/DJ Alen Ramirez aka Requiem. was born in the country of Chile, raised in the southwest. Requiem has always been inspired by Hip Hop and the worlds of science fiction. He bridges the two to create a certain friction of outer space hood beats.
He has played support for various well known talent such as: Bricksquash, Vide, Fixate, Doctor Jeep, Yheti, DMVU, Mr Bill, Digital Vagabond,Oxossi, Thought Process, Cloud-D, SuDs, Minnesota, CharlestheFirst & The Lab Group. All of these were either at The Black Box main room or the original Meow Wolf.

We proudly present our first release called Alpha EP.

It has been such a wild ride to prepare this album for you all, but we're so proud of the result and we're gladly sharing it with you, spreading the love for the music we love. We also know that this album is the start of greater things to come, some sort of gateway to a bigger and better flow of content that will come your way very soon. We wanted to remain true to our own style and create things that are brilliant in their own way, I think we succeeded.

For me personally, life has been a struggle the past 2 years, but if there's one thing I know is that you can never give up. Stay true to yourself, do what you believe in, try to reach your goals even when the road seems endless. The artists on this album are more than just good musicians to me, they've become a family that I dearly support with all my heart.

I want to give a huge thanks to Anh @yunganh , Jonathan @tregsmusic  , Sam @imgoldwater and Ezra @swll for helping me make this thing. This project has sucked the life out of me and I'm glad that I can finally release this now. I guess the whole point behind this project was to compile some songs that describe my musical tastes and ideas, but i think also to give the listener a grasp of some sentiments that I wouldn't really be able to explain to anyone face to face. Hopefully this relatively big EP will please your earholes but also your heart, as cheesy as it sounds, haha peace yo i love you all.
