“groove1” is the start to a shift in music direction from BeepBeepChild, from colorful, gritty electronic music to the more fresh, jazzy, urban hip hop.

With influences from great artists such as: Thundercat, Tyler The Creator, Domi & JD Beck, The Lost Generation…, “groove1” itself not only holds the funky, jazzy vibe but also emits the strong, young and glowing energy. Assisted by the talented SIXTYUPTOWN and Daisy Le Garcon lyrically, Groove 1 again is the embodiment of the Western jazz and hip hop influences with an Asian twist.
The true message behind the song “groove1”, is not only living young, carefreely but also being confident as well as showing who are the next “top-of-the-game” from this generation.

The oldest tune off BATTLE TAPE VOL 1, I made almost the entire first drop in one sitting and sound-wise, it was honestly really primitive (as far as my sound design style goes) but I found it almost a year later and realized how strong the idea was, and so I worked away at expanding it and trying to realize my vision for it. I think I succeeded and it's one of my best tunes I've ever written. Hope you hear what I hear in it :)
