On the back of the success of 'Secrets' in 2020, we return with two huge remixes from Cioz & Thankyou City.

Cioz who's last year has been bigger than most with a debut album on Get Physical and releases on Stil Vor Talent & A Tribe Called Kotori has delivered his signature organic sound to the original. Opting for a dubbed remix, his reputation of reinventing the norm shines through with this stella rendition that will be sure to capture the hearts of his already massive following.

Melbourne brothers Thankyou City contacted us last year expressing their appreciation for 'Secrets' especially the vocal and jumped at the idea of remixing. The prolific duo are one of the most in demand live acts in Australia and their seat at the knights table has been ready for some time. The brothers have developed an impressive trademark sound that embraces a richly melodic, genre-blurring approach to creating their sophisticated musical creations and their dark brooding remix reflects this.

Beat & Path have spent two years nurturing talent, throwing their weight behind albums from Sanoi and The Oddness and tracking Uone and Western's treks into gold-rush territory. But it's been 28 months since their last VA release, and Camp Out 001 provides the variety that was set up in 2020's Winter Sampler.

There's an eclectic range of tempos and romp factor here; this compilation being as much about dancing under trees as lying in a fireside cuddle puddle while someone plays amateur astronomer.

This first Camp Out edition ends on a high, with Uone joining his most consistent collaborator Western for some pure dancefloor dynamism. Percussion-heavy, undisguisedly synthetic, and insistent; like all beautiful things, 'Lords of Light' doesn't care tuppence for how it's perceived.

For the third release on Ibiza and NYC-based Eyedyllic Music, the label has conjured up a wonderfully global 'meeting of the minds' between the Grammy-nominated Canadian producer, James Teej, and the up-and-coming Milan-based artist, Keira.

With After the Storm, Teej has reached into his songwriting repertoire and sang some heartfelt and sonically pleasing vocals, atop some marvelously melancholy melodies, written by Keira. Together, the unlikely creative pairing of artists have woven together a wonderful tapestry of emotion, which tells a tale of end-of-summer romance, while packing it all nicely into a wonderful electronic soundscape.

Straddling the line between electronica and pop, After the Storm is a unique perspective into what the Eyedyllic aural landscape looks like. It's all about passion, organic and heartfelt instrumentation, and for labelheads Mik Santoro and Kev Obrien, it's about weaving together musical moments between artists and creating through the art of A&R, which is often overlooked in the dance music industry.

Thankyou City is one of Australia’s most impressive and in demand live electronic acts. The two brothers have performed throughout Australia and around the globe since its inception almost ten years ago, with highlights including UK’s Glade Festival, USA’s Symbiosis Festival, Rainbow Serpent Festival, Strawberry fields, Earth Frequency Festival, Subsonic Music, Babylon Festival and Let Them Eat Cake.

Their endeavours through the international club circuit has generated a strong following with impressive performances at some of Europe’s most respected underground clubs from Berlin’s Sisyphus nightclub, Ritter Butzke and Golden Gate to Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Prague, France, Spain and Thailand.

The Thankyou City sound is a truly unique blend of deep house, progressive and techno. Infused organic sounds, warm orchestras, emotive pads and rich melodies complimented by thick bass-lines and complex percussion. The brothers have developed an impressive trademark sound that embraces a rich, genre-blurring approach to creating their sophisticated musical creations.

In 2018, they joined highly acclaimed LA based label Sol Selectas with their “Analogue Odyssey” EP, reaching number #4 on the overall Beatport charts, accompanied by remixes from industry heavyweights Audiofly and Jon Charnis. Other successful releases feature on internationally recognised labels Balance Music, Sprout Music, KNM and on Australia’s Open Records and Subsonic music.

Their achievements have stretched firmly into other regions of the industry, awarded the “People’s Choice” award for Producers Of The Year at the Australian Independent Music Awards and their original scores have also been signed to various SBS and ABC television programs.
