Whispers emerged from the cloud formations—not sounds exactly, but impressions. Fragments of conversations never spoken.

Nimbostratus

Performed and recorded live to multi-track using the Tascam Model 12 — the Vince Welnick Memorial Multitrack Recorder — inside the Fish Ghetto Recording Research Laboratory.

For 8-string Guitar, Electric Bass, Frame Drum, Darbuka, Clavics, Tambourine, Triangle, Shaker, Moog Mother 32, and Delayed Voice.

This piece explores oxidation and erosion as sonic forces — the pressure of time acting upon structure.
Verdigris is built around a decaying rhythmic motif, spiraling outward into percussion rituals, feedback halos, and murmured voice fragments — spoken, not sung — dissolving into the mix like memory left in salt air.

Inspired by the work of Eliane Radigue and devotional Hindu drumming.
Improvised live. Ritualized in post.
A meditation on green corrosion, cycle, and the sacred memory of collapse.

Verdigris master

Mare Island is an avant-garde ritual of memory, corrosion, and endless watch.
Recorded with the Strandberg NX-8, 12-string acoustic, electric bass, Moog Mother-32, glockenspiel, voice, and world percussion, it channels the desolation of decommissioned shipyards and the eternal labor of dry-dock silence.

Built on fractured rhythms and improvised vocal invocations, the piece explores collapse as form and presence as vibration — a reflection of both Mediterranean futurism and submarine exile.

Recorded at the Fish Ghetto Recording Research Laboratory, Orlando, Florida.

The Karma Prophet played electronic sounds and beats, Mr Psycho Missile freestyled the midsection and B. Hasemeyer played acoustic guitar and sang.

Many thanks to Wolf Parade, from whom I  used elements of a 2005 melody as a skeleton to write this song last year.  I even sing the lyric "same ghost every night" which is the name of the Wolf Parade song.  I tried to separate my lyrics from the original melody but it's somewhat glued.

This recording is about three months old, recorded at KarmaBeast Studio in Shelby NC.

Every artist has a story.
We begin in the summer of 1998, when Almark discovered that he could create music on computer by using the free program, Fasttracker II. This opened a whole new world of music, coming from being a guitarist since 6 years before. In 2000 he started his Experimental journey into places unknown. The music was Industrial-based, Electronic and Abstract. Not knowing how to make Electronic, he made his own; daring to break boundries and do something strange and unique. Soon after, moving to Cooledit Pro and purchased keyboard and hardware from a friend; thus giving him more creative ideas.  in the years to come, eventually leading down the path of avant-garde and other forms. ​
 
 
Born 1977 in Tulsa, OK. Almark came from a life of music, music around the home every day, growing up to the 80s, Synthpop, Classical, Hits, MTV, VH1, movie soundtracks and television. During the late 90s his music likes changed to Electronic mostly. Being influenced by Industrial, EBM, Goth, Darkwave, Post-punk, Synthpop, DnB, Ambient, Techno, Ninjatune, Retro and synth music; and these are just a few. In 2000 the influence further shifted to the Aussie group 'Severed Heads.' aka Tom Ellard. Today the driving force comes from the influence of life, the heart of music and still the continued joy of pure experimentation. He manipulates his world till he is happy with it; while storing his influences in a box when he needs them.
 
The music is passionate, creative, inventive; while always seeking a new sound and personality. It continues to remain unique in a world of familar genres. Almark's music finds it's own way through the darkness while reaching otherworldly landscapes; much like a artist paints a picture. Sometimes the music is moody, and sometimes it is melodic.
 
With keyboard controller, various software, Ableton live and imagination, he composes, mixes, masters and produces his  music in a growing world of DJ's and beat makers. The music is unique, weird, abstract, beat-driven, sample-based, cinematic, melodic and even avant-garde.
