thaomi has been involved with music since childhood. At 5 she took piano lessons followed by theory and ear training. From 8 she composed her own pieces and from 14 she attended the New York Ithaca Music College on a scholarship.

Her preference for dark techno brought her into harmony with musical elements of her past: thus she developed her sound, in which dark, seemingly monotonous and melodic sounds flow together in synergy; in which sounds screaming for escalation finally fall into the arms of melancholy.
