This the "chill" EP I've been working on for a few months, with several collaborations. Mostly local friends from DFW, but specifically JBril, Blakk Mambo, Ronald Atienza, and Brian Sheppard. This will be the release coming out on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, etc. 

I do enjoy making chill tracks, but my heart is in heavy hitting bangers. As such, my next album/EP will be nothing but bangers. Stick around for the "end" of Don't Panic to see what I mean. Also: Angry Desire, Jamn # 13, Jamn # 12, Spatial Awakening, etc. 

Other than that, I'm going to try and make a track a week for March, and maybe a Youtube series of me going through my Jamns from Jamnuary. I hope you enjoy!

One track a week this month, right? Well here it is! I'm glad I got this back from my mixing engineer in time to upload it. Who is my mixing engineer, you ask? ME! So if I don't like the mix, I'll demand a refund. 

This is one that I cooked up and polished for you folks this week. In my opinion it's still SUPER rough, but I'm also the type of person who will poke and prod at a track for MONTHS without putting it out. So to go from sitting on my SSD, to your ears, in a week(!) is getting to JAMNUARY levels of speed (but not really because I made all of those in ONE day).

Enough about that, if you haven't heard the new EP, ThassChill Vol. 1, go check it out. It is now officially out on all streaming services (or most of them), and it's also RIGHT HERE on SoundCloud. If you don't like this track, or those tracks, I'm sorry you have poor taste.

Steppin' On Toes - Version 1.0

2nd track of March! I was hit with a bit of "dual inspiration", and made this track into two tracks, in a way. I feel like I could separate and make the "two" songs their own thing, but if it weren't for the deadline I imposed upon myself (one track a week, no problem right?!) I'd take more time to polish these a bit more. If it's not for you, I am truly sorry.

Dance With Me/Whatchudoin'?

Hello from San Antonio! The reason for the late release today is because I'm releasing this from my hotel room in San Antonio after a London Elektricity concert last night! Even after he was off the stage the amount of talent there was massive, stayed until 4 AM!

I first came up with the concept of this song while messing with some Japanese inspired samples. I tried to keep it Lo-fi-ish throughout, although each time I try to make something Lo-fi it ends up with some kind of breakbeat and then the energy changes.

One more track for the month, I hope you enjoy this one! There are likely some changes to come to it in the future, mostly to the end, but I think this is decent for a song made in less than a week!

Zen Echoes

This track was heavily inspired by the sample pack Nosia put out last year. I've been incorporating their samples in other tracks for a few months now, and especially when I was doing Jamnuary (Jamn #11 is almost all Noisia samples). With that being said I am in no way associated with the band, and I hope there is no confusion with that regarding the track title. 

I hope you enjoy this one, I have a few others I'm also working on, including another collaboration with JBrill (guitarist on In Dub We Trust), but this one is way more...metal. Stay tuned, more tracks coming to my Patreon soon, I promise!

MAKE SOME NOIS(IA)

How was your April? Mine went pretty swell. Instead of a track a week I was able to put more thought into one single track, and this is it. If you're hoping for something more...in your face, I do have something I'm working on. 

In the meantime I may release Angry Desire (from The Amalgamation) and Last Call (from ThassChill) together on SoundCloud. Although Last Call is TECHNICALLY at the end of Don't Panic, this would be the solo track itself without having to listen to the beginning of Don't Panic, ya feel me? And Angry Desire is not on SoundCloud at all, so it'll be some exposure to the people who don't know. 

I hope you enjoy this one, I will be posting on all my social media shortly, if you're here early I appreciate you and WATCH OUT FOR MORE!!!!

No Rush

This is my track for May! Why do I wait until the end of the month? To make sure it's ready to be put out there! If you're one of the few who actually reads these: remember how I hinted at another new track along with ANGRY DESIRE and Last Call? That's coming next week! So expect more soon!

Midnight Mirage

This is a passion project I've been polishing for about two months. I wanted to bundle it with two of my other "hard" style tracks, one of which has never been on SoundCloud, and the other has never been available solo (it is a hidden track on ThassChill). 

I had a fantastic time making this track, and I plan for my next EP or album to be very much in this hard heavy-hitting style. There's a REASON I put out the chill EP first, it was to make way for this type of shit. Let me know what you think!

Rave Riot - Fight The Kaos

This is technically not a NEW track, since it is hidden behind Don't Panic on ThassChill Vol. 1. BUT, since I'm putting out another hard style song today, I decided to release Last Call itself, without the Don't Panic part. I really like this one, and I've tweaked the EQ a bit from the EP release. These three are some of my favorite tracks, and I hope you checkout everything I plan to release in the future.

LAST CALL

This is track 5 of my album Leveling Up that I released last year. That album has never been released on SoundCloud so, in theory, there may be some people not familiar with it at all. This was one of my attempts at throwing as many loud, fast, and hard things together that made sense. It is one of my top songs and I did tweak the EQ a bit on this one, for better I hope.

Because it fit the style of Last Call and Kaos I decided to put all three together. I'll be updating www.thassodar.com soon, I hope you enjoy!
