Although, she’s pretty bummed about having to pause her despair to join this tournament. Perhaps her prize for winning will be plunging the entire world into the depths of despair? After Oogie's untimely defeat against The Pumpkin King, his bugs scattered off across the land. Some ended up in The Limit’s city, right in The Devil’s casino! Upon noticing the infestation, The Devil conjured up his magic to bring Oogie back to life. To repay the favour, Oogie sets out to win the treasure...with a little help from The Devil's right hand man. Their lives are on the line, but it makes things more fun - so you better know these gamblers are ready to bet it all and win the jackpot!

Decked out with only the best ARMS from his trusty 'right-hand' woman Nico, Nero is now taking on TOML in order to prove that he's not second-fiddle to Dante. Don't call him deadweight though, or he'll give you a piece of his mind.

**002: Barnacle Boy**

POW! Barnacle Boy is the long-time sidekick of Mermaid Man, acting as the second essential component of the iconic duo. As the two have aged and gotten older, Barnacle Boy has become much more...cynical and crotchety, wanting to spend the rest of his elderly days in peace. The superhero got so fed up with his partner that he once left to become a villain...the diabolical Barnacle Man! That...didn’t really work out, and he once again was relegated to being the second in command. Now living a peaceful life of retirement, he “protects” Bikini Bottom to the best of his abilities...when he’s awake, that is.

It’s this desire to step out of the shadows that made FAUX choose Barnacle Boy...unfortunately, that was quite long ago and now Barnacle Boy is more confused as to why he’s even here than anything. Should he win CHANCE, he’ll be able to break out from Mermaid Man’s shadow and step into his own...not exactly what he wants anymore, but he’ll take it. Can this has-been hero reach a new golden age?

In two worlds full of demons and otherworldly horrors, two hunters handle the threat very differently. B.B. Hood hunts the titular Darkstalkers for financial gain and sport, whereas the Doom Slayer bathes Hell itself in the blood of demons who had brought upon the very end of humanity. These two have almost nothing in common out of their hatred for all things satanic...which makes their pairing even odder.

FAUX saw an opportunity for these two to get along rather well despite their clashing moral beliefs. Should they win, B.B. Hood gets to eradicate any Darkstalker in her path whereas the Doom Slayer will be forever invincible, all demonic forces falling to his feet. As of right now, however...well, let's say their friendship still has to find its footing. With Bonnie's cunning and craftiness alongside the Slayer's determination and muscle, can these two claim their bounty?

Cats out of the bag! Meet presidential candidate Felicia Rose and her running mate, Gumball Watterson. These two cool cats were running for the 2020 election and even got extremely far into the race, but just couldn’t edge out the competition! There's no paws for alarm, though - these two are gonna keep trying until they reach the top...or at least, they were until Gumball let out his intentions for the middle class.

FAUX feels sympathetic towards these two, and while he couldn’t squeeze them into the full CHANCE roster, he DID include them as official residents! It seems Gumball didn’t get the memo, however, as he already had a track ready to go...whoops.

MR. BONES' DEFUNCT RIDE

The host of Defunctland, Kevin Perjurer, has taken up a strange topic- a fictitious amusement park ride existing only in a video game. As any healthy theme park enthusiast should, Kevin checks out the ride himself; a mysterious ride known for never ending owned by a gigantic skeleton named Mr. Bones. Somehow crossing the boundaries of fiction and reality, Kevin meets Mr. Bones face to face to discuss his spooky and evil ride, but before they can reach a conclusion, they find themselves in the world of TOML. Will they prevail? Who knows, the ride never ends!

It’s Sonic the Hedgehog! No, not *that* Sonic. This Sonic starred in hit Machinina series Sonic for Hire. No, not the Sonic canon to that show. The one who played that Sonic’s role. Confusing, I know. In an alternate universe where Sonic is a full time actor, after his main gig Sonic for Hire goes down, he’s put out of a job. Ironically, this Sonic is quite literally for hire. With the same quick wits and humor as your ordinary Sonic, this Sonic is mostly just glad to be in a job again.

**010: Ghouls Next Door**

It looks like Grimwood’s greatest and Gloomsville’s most gleeful girls have teamed up to create the Ghouls Next Door, aiming to spread smiles with whoever they meet! Ruby Gloom is an upbeat redhead who stumbled upon the fun-loving Phantasma when they both arrived in the Great Lilac. The two became fast friends and aim to show the rest of the crew the bright side of the dark side. It looks like these two paranormal partners are gonna give the Great Lilac something to scream about!

FAUX initially chose both due to a lack of relevance in terms of media - both of them will return to the airwaves and get to spread smiles to thousands should they win. It doesn’t seem like either get that they come from animated media, though, so to them, the prize might as well not exist. The two don’t seem to really care about winning anyways - they just wanna have a fun time and to make some new pals!

**011: Space Cowboys**

Showtime, a-holes! On one end is former member of the Red Dragon Crime Syndicate turned bounty hunter, Spike Spiegel, and on the other end is former member of the Ravagers turned superhero, Star-Lord! One’s a slothful slacker with a hidden heart of gold and the other is a former genetic hybrid who’s saved and doomed the galaxy many times in the past. With Spike separated from his group and the leader of the Guardians missing, its up to these two to team up and kick ass...musically, that is.

Chosen by FAUX due to their shared histories in organized crime, the two share very little in common beyond that. Peter is more down to participate whereas Spike is more ambivalent about the whole ordeal, just wanting to get home. Can these two space cowboys carry the weight all the way to the finish line?

Welcome to Source Steal! A mashup tournament aboard a spacecraft where whenever one character loses a match, the winner of that match steals one of their sources. Alongside voting for the winner of a match, the audience votes for which source they want the winner to take. Once the winner has the loser's source, that loser cannot use the source anymore. What a shame. Once a character is eliminated, they are ejected into the depths of space to die. Boy, that sure would suck. Glad it's not me! What's that? You wanna know who "me" is? After another successful job of landing a man with some chicks, love fairy Kyu was given a holiday break. She decided to relax in a park, where local band Go! Child was doing a live performance of their album Coffee & Ramen. Kyu found it to be rather nice, but what threw her off was the band’s lead vocalist to notice her - normally, Kyu’s invisible to everyone that isn’t whoever she’s assigned to. But how come this girl could see her here..? It’s strange. Whatever the explanation, they both got enrolled in the tournament, and plan to play their new music for everyone - and hopefully, spread love in the process!

**015: Saints of Shovelry**

Steel thy shovel and brace yourself, because the Saints of Shovelry are ready to strike! Cadence, the one cursed by the Necrodancer and the one who trekked through his crypt in search of her father, has teamed up with the enigmatic and fierce Black Knight to dig through the Great Lilac! These two different spade-wielding individuals seem to have struck a deal, putting their differences aside to take the tourney by storm. Will these two be able to beat the odds and tune out their competition? Sounds like a plan!

Being that these two share shovels and have relationships to...well, “broken hearts,” both of them have become fast allies, whether they initially planned to or not. The Black Knight’s stalwart nature has been countered by the determined yet open Cadence, forcing the two to bounce off of one another. With a plethora of indie game jams and music fit for a knight, there’s no way they can lose!

CHARACTER: Mr. DNA

Originally created in 1993 by InGen, this anthropomorphic strand of DNA would explain how the dinosaurs were recreated to visitors of Jurassic Park, and even give interesting facts about each one! As he states, DNA is a blueprint for a living thing - and he's here to lay down the blueprints for some fresh music! Let's just hope the dinosaurs in the park don't hate it and break out as a result - the last thing we need is a dinosaur outbreak in the City!
