That 1980s Kid creates catchy and eclectic music that relates to every human being. Growing up in Guildford, Surrey, It didn't take long for him to discover his passion for music. By age 5, he started drumming, and at 14 he added music production into the mix with the help of Cubase VST. As the years went on, and his experience and love for music intensified, he attended the Academy of Contemporary Music (A.C.M.) to study music production and drums at Higher Diploma. 

As a producer, lyricist, and musician, That 1980s Kid looks to the iconic artists of the 80s: Soultrain, Michael Jackson, Jocelyn Brown, George Michael, Alexander O'neal and Simply Red. Drawing on their sounds and adding his own touch, That 1980s Kid won't stop until he hears people screaming out the lyrics to his pop, RnB, and hip-hop songs
