The new single from rising, Los Angeles-based artist/producer and film composer CUSCINO, releasing in Europe on July 27 via Dirty Cat Records (Germany). 

With “Set Fire”, CUSCINO takes us on another sonically-challenging journey with this new release, complete with the melodic twists and turns we've come to expect from this unique, multi-faceted producer. The single melds creaky analogue sounds with sophisticated melodies and a deep sound that builds as the track progresses.

While "Set Fire" can't be classified immediately, "Set Fire" lifts off from progressive house territory and drops into a big, deep sound that makes this summer release great for big, outdoor fests as well as in the privacy of one's own headphones. 

This single is the first official release following CUSCINO's debut EP "Eternality," released on Fashion Sells Musiq (Los Angeles) in October 2013, which is still seeing airplay and video play as far reaching as VH1 India.

Also included are several unique remixes from Dirty Cat’s top producer roster for the dancefloor: a techhouse remix by Adis Gile, a driving deep house take by label owner Dirty Cat, a chilled deep house track by Hansgod, and an experimental remix by Kabelmann to round out this release for the upcoming summer.

HipGnosis - Set Fire has a very mid-90's warehouse vibe that I love. It's a slow burner, but the 2nd half especially is DEEP headphone material.

The Adis Gile remix is a trip, far and away my favorite. I'll definitely be playing this one! The Hansgod remix is also really fun. It's a nice playful tune for the dancefloor.

The Kabelmann remix was completely unexpected, and is a great inclusion due to its uniqueness.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Hansgod is a french producer dj/live/act who evolved with electronic music .His breakbeat and hip-hop roots made him reach house music and later techno music.He began mixing at 16 years old and made his first step on a sequencer at 21.Today he wants to stop making melodies to work on tech-house and minimal sound objects.

He is resident of a new but well known underground place, the after bar in western France.
