Old School 90's Hip-Hop set

Elliott Sabbagh (Ell) is a talented classically trained violinist and vinyl turntableist DJ, who plays several music genres including Hip-Hop, EDM, dubstep, and classical. Trained from the early age of five in the strings, he credits his success as a DJ/ turntablist/ artist to his many years of playing and studying violin and classical music.

Having grown a large fan base of followers in the Midwest, Ell has been seen in and out of the country performing and touring with many celebrity artists and groups such as ASAP Rocky, Big K.R.I.T., Curren$y, EST19XX, Finally Famous, J. Cole, Juicy J, Logic, Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), Maybach Music, Taylor Gang, Twista, Wale, and more. Unlike most DJs who only play one genre of music, Ell has played a wide range of club, concerts, and festivals like Vans Warped Tour along with many benefit concerts, and entertainment events hosted by MTV and Red Bull. Beginning in 2008, Ell began teaching private and public DJ classes and workshops in Michigan and Boston. 

At age fourteen, Ell was invited by DJ Chill Will, host of “The Prop Shop”, (the Midwest’s longest-running Hip-Hop radio show, since 1988) on WCBN-FM Ann Arbor, to join his show as his regular co-host. He considered Ell a "musical, rhythmic prodigy". DJ Ell became the youngest turntableist DJ in the U.S to co-host a radio Hip-Hop show on FM radio, from 2008 to the summer of 2013, when he left Ann Arbor to earn his degree at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

DJ Ell (Elliott Sabbagh) is a turntablist DJ, mix engineer, and radio host, who plays and produces Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, and EDM. Living between Boston and Spain, he works with clients and artists from around the globe and credits his career as a DJ and studio engineer towards his early years of training since age five on classical violin and in music theory. Ell took his love of music from proficiency to mastery after earning both his Bachelors and Masters degrees within 4 years at the Berklee College of Music.

Having played extensively in the U.S. and club residencies in Europe, Ell has been a featured performer at events hosted by companies and organizations such as MTV, Vans, Red Bull, The Democratic Party, and The United States Military alongside performances with national recording artists and groups including ASAP Rocky, Big K.R.I.T, Curren$y, J. Cole, Juicy J, Logic, Maybach Music Group, Slum Village, Twista, and Wale alongside U.S. tours with Big Sean’s Finally Famous, Machine Gun Kelly/ EST19XX, and Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang.

In 2008, Ell became the Co-Host of the Midwest’s longest running Hip-Hop radio show “The Prop Shop” on WCBN-FM Ann Arbor with host DJ Chill Will. He considered Ell a “musical, rhythmic prodigy”. Since WCBN, Ell plays frequently at other stations including Big City 101.3FM Boston, WMBR 88.1FM Cambridge, MA, and KSHI 90.9FM, NM. Since 2011, Ell has presented private and community DJ classes, workshops, and lectures at schools and organizations including MIT, the University of Michigan, and community centers across the United States.
