Twenty years ago this movie won Best Picture at the 76th Academy Awards.

Directed by Peter Jackson from a screenplay by Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens, and Jackson, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is the epic high fantasy adventure film based on 1955's The Return if the King - the third The Lord of the Rings novel by J. R. R. Tolkien.

Rob and Jason rewind the 2003 to conclude their review in the final chapter and sequel to 2002's The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.

Hobbits Frodo and Sam reach Mordor in their quest to destroy the 'one ring', while Aragorn leads the forces of good against Sauron's evil army at the stone city of Minas Tirith.
