War Cry

Abi Rose, AKA That Girl Called Abi,  is an Australian/British singer-songwriter and music producer with a unique sound and style of her own which is reflected in the genre bending music she creates today. Fusing elements of house, pop and reggae to craft catchy hooks and inspirational lyrics.

 Rose herself is quite lively with a hint of shyness and a dash of angst that makes her even more likeable, as she reflects on her time in London where she first began to hone her craft in pop music production.
  
Rose discovered her passion for music early, starting off on drums at the age of nine, before making a move to London where in 2020 she became the recipient of the Focusrite music bursary, enabling her to focus on music production whilst performing regularly at some of London's most iconic blues bars. 

Abi has just released her second single War Cry and is moving forward strongly with a passion to be a voice for those who have been silenced and gone unheard. Rose states,

 'I haven't come from privilege. Every step has been a fight to survive and I've known tragedy losing my Dad and sister quite early on. I guess that instilled a warrior spirit in me and I can't wait to start performing my songs and sharing that energy on stage. I want to be an inspiration for people who haven't had the encouragement and support they needed. I don't know how to quit.'

Abi is definitely one to watch in 2024 so keep your eye on her socials for upcoming performances at the end of this year.
