This song is important to me. When I started writing Music, I learned how to manipulate words, to use metaphors, to express yourself in a way that no one else can. I continue to strive to be better with every song that I personally put out or collaborate on. Today is a great day. Today is also a day to reminisce. Most people don’t know about my childhood. Most people don’t know that I DID grow up in the ghetto and I saw and was involved in some of the things that you never knew about as a kid. A very deep song was written by none other than me. It was a very hard song to write. I wanted to create a very strong feeling when I wrote this. Every bit of this is true. I mention crack addiction in this song. I was never personally involved with drugs(Using them) but I knew and saw friends use and abuse them. I’ve seen guns and I know what they are capable of just like anyone else. I don’t remember every part of my childhood days. I talk about that. I am very real in this song. I hope you all enjoy.
