Conflict Theory is Low’s first project. Conflict Theory is a theory created by Karl Marx that claims that society is forever in a state of conflict, mainly due to competing over limited resources. Conflict Theory dictates that there is a social order, the weak, and the dominant. This theory notes that society only works when those who are dominant rule through power and not consensus. This project aims to take shots at society as a whole. To allow people to recognize the weak and the dominant within their own lives. Low uses this music to explain his own weakness, and his own dominance, particularly through his journey through the music itself.
