This is quite heartbreaking to me. To those of you who don't know, I stand firmly against any and all genAI technologies due to moral, environmental, and personal reasons. I had around 70 tracks posted here before learning of what soundcloud's intentions were with my (and other users') music. As a result of their decision, I have deleted all of my tracks and left this one as an explanation as to why I have done so. It plays a single F natural for about a minute.

I understand that many genAI enthusiasts and (sadly) creators alike feel it's pointless to resist the oncoming onslaught of companies determined to force genAI technologies upon us. To the enthusiasts, I pity you. Rather than spending the time to experience the joy of art-creation, you have effectively bought into a movement controlled by corporate greed, hellbent on taking said experience away from you. When this bubble collapses on itself (and it will), you will be affected the most.

To the creators, I invite you to stand with me and many others who refuse to allow our hard work to be used, without consent, so that these corporations can flourish. This affects all of us, not only by stealing our work, but by polluting and causing great harm to the environment. Don't allow yourself to feel the fight is over. It continues, so long as we make it so.

To all of my fans who enjoyed listening to my music over the years, I'll be looking into other platforms to post my music that haven't given in to the idea of implementing genAI training from our work. If/when I see those platforms change their ToS to implement such technologies, I will leave them, as well. Look for me on BlueSky to keep up to date.
