Hello, listeners; it is I, Maddy. Today I have for you the third, and perhaps, final version of the MEGALO for the Welcome to the Internet AU, "BEATDOWN".

This "MEGALOVANIA" inspired track plays during the final confrontation with Dave Strider of Homestuck fame. Homestuck, as many are aware, contains the second iteration of Toby Fox's "MEGALOVANIA", which plays during the final confrontation during the Genocide Route with Sans. In addition, much like Week 7 of Friday Night Funkin', Homestuck's "Cascade" also crashed the Newgrounds website. Taking inspiration from the works of Saster, Saster, and Saster again, I have arranged an EDM inspired track befitting of Dave Strider himself.

hey, everyone.  it's been awhile since the last we've talked, huh?
(fyi, i'm about to go on a bit of a tangent under the cut, talking about my unannounced hiatus and other stuff.  if you don't wanna read any of that, just scroll down near the end of the description for credits and other stuff.)

so, some stuff has happened between the last upload and now.
first off, my summer vacation has started, which is actually really good for me.  you see, i went through a pretty big motivation loss near the end of the school year, and this was mostly due to the end of the school year being extremely stressful for me(what with me being in band, chorus and vocal ensemble and those groups having loads of tours and concerts and such), which made me feel unmotivated to work on literally anything.  the most i would do is work on a lead for a megalo and then quit before i even started the strings.  this would happen for almost every song i worked on, which fuckin' sucked.
thankfully, though, now that school's out and i have much more free time, i've felt much more motivated to actually get some songs finished.  so, hopefully, i'll have some more consistent uploads this summer, granted that my schedule isn't too messy and all over the place.
second of all, i have a new au that i'm going to be working on this summer.  now, i know what you might be thinking: "EDDIE WHAT THE HECK WHY ARE YOU MAKING AN AU EVERY AU YOU'VE MADE IN THE PAST DIED OUT BEFORE YOU EVEN REVEALED THEM TO THE PUBLIC AND AUS ARE OVER-SATURATED AND OVERRATED AND YOU'RE PROBABLY JUST GONNA UPLOAD TRACKS RELATING TO THE SANS ROLE AND THE MEGALO BEFORE THE AU DIES OUT >:(((((".  and, while i doubt anyone unironically thinks like this anymore, you're right, i haven't had much success with my aus, and my constant and sudden bursts of demotivation certainly don't help.  however, i actually have a lot of original and unique ideas for this au that, if i manage to execute them successfully, could potentially make this project one of, if not, the most unique aus in a long time.  and believe me, i wouldn't be making plans to have a soundcloud account for an ost or a much better equivalent to a sprite comic for this au if i didn't think the au had any potential.  again, i'll reveal more information about the au when the time comes, but for now, just keep your eyes peeled.
