In this 3-part album, I take you to 3 completely different worlds. 

The idea of the is to take you on a journey & show how colors and sounds can influence a human's state of mind while revealing 3 different forms of me as an artist and show my versatility.

Warriors

That One Guy is a Hip Hop artist Born in New York City. His sound is extremely versatile deriving influences from East Coast Hip Hop, Rock N’ Roll Funk Jazz & Latino roots. This mixed with his moody, mellow delivery, melodic hooks and clever lyricism makes for a unique style that fans of many genres can vibe to. Kanye West, Jay-z, Kurt Cobain, Wale, John Mayer, J. Cole, Sublime, Andre 3000, Snoop Dogg & Lil Wayne are That One Guy’s biggest musical Influences.

As a child That One Guy would move back and forth from New York, Florida and Las Vegas frequently. Changing schools and having to make new friends every year created an extremely strong bond with listening to music. That One Guy began making music when he picked up a guitar as a hobby in 2009 & then several years later he decided to take a music career path seriously, but as a rapper. In 2018 That One Guy moved to North Hollywood with his cousin & collaborating artist Lil Ace Woah, who was managing him at the time, to further pursue their dream. That One Guy used his time in LA to complete 80% of his Debut album, MOOD.

Feb of 2019, MOOD was released which is an album where That One Guy skillfully showcases his range & versatility. MOOD has three sections represented by 3 colors. RED is 7 tracks of in-your-face, gritty, high energy trap bangers from That One Guy. Tracks like “WTF” feature bass-heavy trap instrumentals and a surprise feature from Orlando Brown.
The YELLOW section shows a smoother, more melodic side of That One Guy. Bangers such as “Last Night” “Know” & “You” contain groovy and easy to dance to instrumentals & catchy choruses along with a mellow and witty delivery from That One Guy. The album then transitions to BLUE where you are hit with some extremely moody lyrics as That One Guy opens up about fake friends, baby mama drama & beating drug addiction in songs such as “Litty City” and “Compliments to the Chef”.

As of late That One Guy has been working on writing a lot of music for other artist as well as for himself. He is currently finished working on a new EP named Nothing Is On Fire. Fire Is On Things expected to drop in February
