Legendary Australian Hip Hop outfit, the Fonke Knomaads, formed in the late 80's released in the early 90's & have been providing raw hip hop funk ever since. 

Being Influenced by Gang Starr, Native Tongues, Madlib, AD, Funk Inc, The Meters, Prince Paul, to name a few the DJ Soup & TeOp have crafted product style to create their own unique blend.

The Knomaads are celebrating the start of a 15 month adventure. They've fired up the Amiga's and dusted off their samplers and gotten cosy in the studio, the result being the forthcoming release of brand spanking new material on Peach Fuzz records. 

 The first of four releases called Freakwild will be available on October 20th with copies of the 45 on vinyl available for order on band camp. 

Truly not an edit, the Knomaads have done damn fine cover here of Nice and Smooth's "Funky for you". Fresh and free to download. It's feel good summery hip hop at it's finest and we're honoured to have them on board for volume 6.
