This is an extended edit of a tune containing one of the toughest breaks ever recorded in Australia. 
Chicks are a relatively unknown disco/ rock outfit from Brisbane, recording in the late 1970s. They released one excellent LP, "Security" before disbanding in the early 1980s. A little reminiscent of Fame era Bowie, "Loaded Dice" was a tune about having the odds stacked against you in a dying town. It also seems oddly appropriate for the current environment in Sydney, where puritan lockout laws are strangling the music scene; and motorway construction, property developers and Casino's are allowed to ride roughshod over the heritage and culture of the city.
