Coppa - An Act of Aggression: THE REMIXES
Four classic originals. Four amazing remixes. Coppa and his Comanche imprint continue to up the game, and change the game. CMR004 comes with remixes from Benny L, Samy Nicks, AKOV and Blaine Stranger, who each take on one of the tracks from Coppa's An Act Of Aggression LP.
Coppa's reputation and hard work has been rightfully recognised, and after years in the game he is fully flying the flag for drum & bass on stages all over the world. The new remix collection adds another dimension, with four new takes on some of the bigger tunes from last year's album. 
Blaine Stranger takes on Coppa & Raise Spirit's Huge Oh No, which features Nihayet. The same storming, ominous sound, the same massive vibes, but a fresh approach, with Blaine bringing the drums front and centre and adding new synth melodies in a remix which the crowds'll love, taking the tune to yet more listeners than before. Watch out for this one, fire in the dance. Coppa and Disphonia provide the wicked Paranoize, which Akov remixes for CMR004. Just when you thought the original couldn't be added to, Akov completely switches things up, dropping the tempo to half time, isolating the vocals and zeroing in on details to boost the very best parts of the track. A perfect remix on many fronts, you'll want to play this one again and again.
Benny L navigates the Rhythms Of Life, courtesy of the main man Coppa, Virtue and Damian Yonge. Once again, the devil's in the detail, as the remixer swaps in heavier basslines and sharp kicks to bring the new version to life. Energetic and joyful, this is a new anthem in the making. When the beat drops back in, you'll know why we're tipping this one for the top. Essential.
Closer Panic is remixed by Samy Nicks, who builds on Coppa and Benny L's original. This one is the pure, raw edge of drum & bass that we all love so much, and is going to be a tune which you're going to be hearing a lot of in the next few weeks and months.
