"We Could Be Gold" F.Aux Live @ Megaplex 2014

Glad I hit record when I sit down for a practice mix. Just something a little different this time around, nothing planned, just a slew of new tunes I was getting familiar with.

I wasn't going to upload this tbh but after a few days of sitting on it and listening back, I decided why tf not.

Ignore the one fuck up early in the mix; these things happen. I don't plan sets, and was rawdogging with new tunes.

SLY's Sloppy Sessions 12-2-24

Just trying to keep a regular upload going on my practice sessions. Nothing fancy, just a one n done recording of some mix practice. Shorter. Sloppier. Sexier? *contains <25% session per serving*

SLY's Sloppy Sessions 12-15-24

The usual, new tunes, breaking them in and all that jazz. Threw in a little UKG towards the end. Genre fluid mix but still heavily tech house. Apologies if this one is sloppier than usual, I was tired, on my 6th day of work in a row, 10 hour days, holiday madness all week long, but I didn't want any of that to get in the way of recording regular practice sessions. It feels good to spin new music and disappear in a pair of headphones for a while.

SLY's Sloppy Sessions 1-10-25

Switching things up with a little downtempo progressive house, inspired by DJs/Producers like Boris Brejcha, Rufus Du Sol, maybe a lil Camelphat. Had some new progressive house tracks I wanted to share. From ethereal vocal tracks to gnarly dark and driving beats, I'm fairly happy with how this turned out. (there's still a little tech house flavor in there, too) :P

One of these days I'll plan out these shows, but for now I think I've got a groove going that works for me. I hope you enjoy something a little different from my normal tech house/techno sets. Its good to switch things up from time to time.

Sly's Sloppy Sessions (Progressive Tech Edition): 1-20-25

Little bit of a mix of tech house, some vocal progressive house, and a lil bit of techno. Still slops, but also still bops. Hope this gets your paws moving! As always, enjoy the tunes. Definitely been enjoying throwing more progressive tracks into my sets lately. This is definitely the longest I kept a consistent schedule of recordings going, and it feels so good.

These "Sloppy Sessions" aren't ever planned out, and I keep promising to start a side show that is actually planned out more but for now, I'm enjoying just grabbing new tunes, pressing play, recording and sharing what comes out. <3

All in all this was the most fun set I've ever played. Def some mistakes there but eh, it happens. Not gonna lie, I was definitely still hungover. xD Much respect to the DJs and the hard working AV crew who made this weekend possible. And to you, you rowdy kids, for going hard and just making the weekend fun as shit. Same time next year?
