Growing up in the countryside of south Germany luckily there was not much to do for the 25 year old Iani besides getting involved in music. Learning the violin and piano from a young age on, she is shaped by a classic education in music and an ongoing love for orchestras. In 2018 she began to take interest in producing her own music, driven by a perfectionism known to most artists in taking control over expressing her musical ideas. This independent work and countless late night sessions have led to a unique sound, that is never afraid of catchy melodies and testing out boundaries of genres. In the making of "The Own Muse“ she used the sounds of random stuff in the room, mixing it with an upbeat rhythm of African drums, she had recorded a while ago. Finishing it off with „that annoying sound from the beginning“ as she describes it herself, the track surprises the listener yet another time. Jumping from a distorted Electro-Pop-Vibe in one song into a laid back modern RnB-one on „Mindd“, her first EP „Me at the Zoo“ presents Iani as a versatile and self-confident young artist  with much more music to give and female energy to spread.
