Gravitrax, known for his collaboration with LSDREAM (EXPAND THE UNIVERSE), has teamed up with Atlas.B to present an out of this world tune titled, “It Was All A Dream”. There is an obvious thematic astral connection between the producers and through mutual inspiration, this became an effortless funk hit, full of wubs and the classic iconic sample from The Notorious B.I.G. – Juicy! “Atlas.B has infinite potential with solid roots in funk and a recognizable sound, in his ability to record, manipulate, and create samples from anywhere in space-time. The initial funk sample he sent me really got my attention and I just knew it had to become a full tune with both our sounds. It felt transcendent in the studio as it came together. An original with a sample from Biggie, so we decided to make this a free download on SoundCloud and Audius for everyone! I’m super happy with the final tune, in having an awesome retro vibe but with a futuristic bass flow. Always crossing the boundaries of space-time. Gravitrax X Atlas.B - It Was All A Dream

A journey into the crazy mind.

This first track is all about shadow work. I sampled the vocals from  "Daisy" by Ashnikko and created essentially a story that follows the crazy mind. In the beginning it is simple and repetitive with sultry female vocals that are intended to simultaneously provoke a sense of attraction and fear. The words ring out "Not this again!" as the sequence repeats once more. Following this we have a sense of calm and reflection that launches into a sonic jungle introducing more chaos and complexity as we get a sense of some beast or monster being held back lurching forward attempting to break free. After this tension builds there is the declaration "I Bite Back!" as the animal is unleashed in a manic flurry.

This month, May 2022, I will be releasing a new track everyday for 30 days and wrapping up on the 31st with an all original, hour long mix. this massive release will include tracks that I've compiled over the years as a producer and engineer in the digital realm.  It is an eclectic collection that will fully encompass my personal musical stylings as well as showcase some of the talented individuals that I've had the pleasure of working with over the years.  

The first track is from a beat battle that was hosted at 123 Pleasant Street, located in Morgantown, WV, against a fellow producer from the area, DJ Rockstar.
