The philosopher Soren Kierkegaard wrote that doubt is the test of intrinsic faith--that the only way to truly understand how deeply the internal belief of god within humankind runs is to test it. Intrinsic doubt, on the contrary, represents the notion that easy truths are a test of the radical skepticism by which we should live our lives-- to leave no stone unturned, no premise untouched and no assumption unrejected.
