Ce Various Artist retrace les moments magiques vécus la saison dernière lors de nos soirées DRIFT et TRIBU. Nous avons voulu y rassembler l’ensemble des artistes invité.e.s pour les remercier de leur participation mais aussi pour leur montrer que nous avions passé des moments géniaux à leurs côtés. C’est aussi ça la fête, derrière l’organisation d’un événement, il y a des rencontres simples et marquantes qui méritent d’être célébrées.

Pour tout cela, et pour vous remercier de l’énergie, de la ferveur, de la fidélité et du respect que vous public avez eu durant cette magnifique dernière saison, nous avions à cœur de vous partager et vous offrir cette VA 100% gratuite accessible sur notre page Soundcloud. Pour celles et ceux qui souhaiteraient nous soutenir, cette VA sera également proposée en version payante sur Bandcamp et Beatport. Pour continuer notre parcours initiatique au cœur de la TRIBU nous retrouvons nos résidents Laton Raver et Luche mais aussi nos invités Radze, Choko et Severus qui nous ont tous produits des tracks rapides et profondes toujours aussi efficaces. Cette partie 2 nous emmènera dans certaines profondeurs, mais sera nous réveiller grâce à Creeds et Ciuciek, qui nous ont produit 2 banger à leur images, Hard et mélodique pour l’une, Hard fast pour l’autre, à vous dans juger…

Both residents of Union Trance Mission, they have been evolving like free electrons among the electronic landscape over the past few years, shaping their reputation on a typical hybrid sound and a nasty tendency to exceed the authorized speed limits.

Thanks to an intuitive and flawless mixing technique, the guys always move from one genre to the other with a disconcerting ease… From mental tekno to tribe, psy-trance, and everything in-between.

Those who have already seen them playing together can confirm, this is the kind of electric connection that instantly draws you in. And they proved it once again through this mix.

After signing its first vinyl and digital release last May, Weird Planet returns with a digital fundraiser compilation project, just to start the year off right.

Through this VA bringing together no less than 16 artists, the Lyon-based booking agency - and young label - defends a vision that reflects its roster : eclectic, hybrid and far from the pre-established standards. An exploration of the dancefloor in its most uninhibited forms, crossing acid-techno, psychedelic trance, groovy tribe and other unidentified sound objects.

In addition to the strictly musical aspect, it is also and above all the opportunity to contribute to a cause that goes beyond the borders of our scene, since all income generated by the digital sale of this compilation will be donated to the refugee aid association Act For Ref, which provides accommodation solutions, food, administrative or material support and French lessons.

Ah la la, qu'est ce qu'il s'en passe des choses en ce moment. Je fais surtout de mon mieux pour guérir, remarcher comme avant et pouvoir refaire la fête avec vous tous. Les choses se précisent peu à peu. Mais en attendant je galère comme pas possible... 

Heureusement, ça laisse le temps de mixer. Et tu sais quoi ? J'ai des copains qui ont réussi à me convaincre d'enregistrer ce mix, pour participer pour la seconde année au DJ Contest du Born To Rave Festival. Vous savez pertinemment ce que ça veut dire... Que je vais venir pleurer chez vous pour un petit pouce bleu des familles. Hahahaha, je vais être insupportable sur les réseaux ces prochains temps. Putain pourquoi je suis encore réduit à faire des bails comme ça pour mixer dans ma propre ville. Ca me rend triste.
