[27/01/2024] Lesson 47 – Enjoining the Good and Forbidding the Evil – The ‘Aqīdah of Imām Muhammad ibn ‘Abdil-Wahhāb – By Abu Khadeejah – Masjid Bin Bāz – London.

- Chapter: Enjoining the Good and Forbidding the Evil.
- Explanation of the point, “And I hold the obligation of enjoining the good and forbidding the evil in accordance to that which is in line with the pure Sharī’ah Muḥammadiyyah and its obligations.”

- Traits of the believers vs the hypocrites.

- Āyāt regarding being saved from the punishment of Allāh due to enjoining the good and forbidding the evil.
- Proof that the one who does not enjoin the good and forbid the evil according to his ability is destroyed along with the people of evil.
- Refutation of the Khawārij and Mu’tazilah who hold that enjoining the good and forbidding the evil is to rebel against the ruler, split from the united body and make the spilling of the blood of the Muslims lawful.
- The reason the Khawārij focus on the rulers and cause the people to hate them.
- The outcome of the behaviour of the Khawārij and Mu’tazilah in the lands of the Muslims.
- The response to those who say that the Salafīs are cementing the thrones of the rulers.
