After a brief hiatus, the @slothboogie Records crew are back with an exceptional label debut from @ddanvers. You may know him as one half of UK duo ‘Kassian’ who have previously released on SB, but here he flies solo with 4 tracks of expertly produced electronic, acid washed breaks.

Whether it be the liquid tinged euphoria of ‘Angel Break’, the speaker wobbling brute that is ‘YOU&ME’, the saturated acid warmth of ‘Heat’ or the otherworldly journey of ‘Distant Recalls’, this EP is the mark of someone who is a master of their craft and poised to heavily influence the sound of clubs with his unmistakable style.

Rounding off the EP is LA native and underground House devotee Juliet Mendoza who re-shapes ‘YOU&ME’ into a thumping 4/4 workout, primed for the late hours when the strobes come out.

A1. - Nikita Triumphant, acidic and totally swift. Tomkips track jolts out at listeners and takes them on a fast-paced journey to areas of true grit. chock-full of break-beat percussion, warming melodies, acidic baselines and alluring vocals that are bound to enclose an audience to an array of shifting vibrations. Nikita is the right track to completely surround its listeners and push them in its favoured direction.

A2. - Hon and sell- Tomkip venturing to real depths with his moody electronic composition. Hon and sell with its atmospheric chords and grounded baseline controls the fast-paced breakbeat drums to carry this track deep into the human psyche. Listen, move, reflect, Hon and sell ultimately grasps the vibe for night-time driving at top speeds to an unknown destination.

A3. - Slippin- Something for the lovers of a fast-paced funked out groove. Slippin slams hard with a deep organic baseline that rolls out to ground its sporadic/spontaneous drums. Jerky and unpredictable, Slippin uses feel-good vocals that make way for an atmosphere very reminiscent of French house. A fresh funky approach that’s- guaranteed to capture the attention of the hypnotic house heads.
